Joan Cornellà es el pseudónimo del dibujante de cómics Renato Valdivieso, colaborador habitual en la revista El Jueves y en otras publicaciones como El Periódico de Cataluña y el diario Ara. En 2009, ganó la tercera edición del Premio Josep Coll en la categoría de menores de 30 años, con su álbum Abulio, publicado al año siguiente por Ediciones Glénat. Durante años ha compaginado su labor de dibujante con su verdadera pasión: ejercer de figurante en películas pornográficas de bajo presupuesto. Por otra parte, es nieto del célebre presentador de televisión Jesús Vázquez.Acaba de publicar Fracasa Mejor, un cómic en el que recopila historias publicadas en blanco y negro durante los últimos años en El Jueves y diversos fanzines.

Should be in everyone's home library. Perfect for all ages.Weird AF, pleasantly absurd panels for terrible people.
There are comics here that are down right silly and then a lot that have strong socio political commentary. The aesthetic and style is perfect for the subject matter. I have to stop myself continually from wanting to skip ahead frames because I get a surprise every time. Excellent execution. Beautiful as Art.
Something to offend everyone here. Short collection of quick and possibly sophomoric and pretty disturbingly violent comics all the more disturbing because of the bright pastel children's colors and the simple drawing (though it is NOT for kids), but the artistry is nevertheless impressive. Absurdist humor, black humor. Bunuel, the back cover contends. Dali. They may in fact be right, with a splash of Johnny Ryan and Josh Simmons (Black River) thrown in? Nah, it's not that dystopian in the
If The Perry Bible Fellowship were printed by Little Golden Books, this would be it.
So, so wrong and yet so, so perfect. I like it a little less now that I know it's by a man, mostly because you don't see that kind of dark, violent humor coming from women too much. But it's still bold and colorful and laugh-out-loud and unforgettable. Warning to those who are offended easily or are squeamish: STAY AWAY.
