The description for 'The Vampire King's Mate' appealed to me as I always enjoy those disparate matings. Particularly in this world where vampires and werewolves despise each other and have for centuries been waging war on one another mercilessly. King Kevyan Melrose has been trying to come up with a way to make peace with the wolves but so far none of the council members have found an agreeable solution. When an injured werewolf shows up at the gates of his estate, instead of having him killed,

IntermixingThe book and the writing came as a complete shock. At first I wasn't sure I was going to like it but as the story unfolded my interest grew. The intense drama envelopes the reader to look at themselves to consider their own lives and dealing with the world going on around them and what needs to be done and accomplished.

This is first book in a new series. It is a starts with the war that the Pack and Covens have been fighting for centuries. Dorian is a fire cracker and will not take any bull for any one. Dorian does not know what is going on with him and why he is fully attracted to Kevyan, the king of the vampires. You see a wonderful story weave with love and angst for what the war is doing to everyone. You see what someone will do you make sure that there is peace with the packs and covens. If you love to

WOW... What a book, this was a fantastic story I loved reading this, it was completely amazing for a first read for the author. I adored Dorian's character he made a perfect mate for Kevyan. The silent communication between them was beautiful made it even special (love book like this). I most certainly will be getting more of these books, totally addicted now . The story of Kevyan the Vampire King is in a big meeting discussing how they can end the long wars between the vampire and the shifters.
