Interpretation To Books Get It Started (The Party Room #1)
The party room.On Manhattan's Upper East Side. Everybody's fabulous. No one gets carded. Then someone dies. The Party Room is where the prep school crowd goes to drink up and hook up. The cocktails are chill and the bartender's hot. Everyone knows everyone -- except the guy that Samantha Byrne leaves with one night.
The next day Sam's missing. Then she's found dead in Central Park, murdered brutally. It looks like a copycat killing of another girl who was murdered years earlier. By someone from Talcott Prep.
The killer is one of them. He knows where they live. And where they play....

Hooked in the series since I started reading the seriesThis is book for those who like teen drama and a little mystery. This is the first book I have read under this genre, I have more experience as a fantasy and sci-fi reader, therefore I do not have any other book to compare it to. This was my first taste of this genre, this book did not make me enjoy it that much, but I at least tried something new. The reason I might have not enjoyed this book as much as I would have liked to is because, the author, Morgan Burke, writing style is quite choppy

* 4.5 stars Wooooow!! I really enjoyed this first book. I'm a massive sucker for mystery and thriller and this one was no different. With the little number of ratings on this series I was a little sceptical but I truly loved it. I'm starting the second book right now, I must!
I read this while in high school and can remember being absolutely captivated by it. I read all three in a matter of a month however as an adult I couldn't quite get into it. I say good for younger readers
If you liked R.L. Stine, you will probably enjoy this one. It is kind of easy to figure out who the "bad guy" of this book is but I don't think he will be the bad guy of the series. Anyway it is an easy guilty read of teen murder mystery.
"Morgan Burke," huh? A likely story...
