As much as I liked the second volume of this story I was a bit disappointed with this third one. It was interesting to pursue the exploration of this original universe but the story itself went too slowly to the point. I didn't like at all the students and bullying part and some characters arrived way too late in the book. But I enjoyed journeying in this universe again and will happily wait for the last book.

After the breathtaking plot twists and enchanting settings of The Missing of Clairdelune, this third volume of the Mirror Visitor Series felt a little less captivating. The first part of the story drags a bit until a more gripping second part. The new characters we encounter are not as effective and well depicted as those we met in the previous books.That said, this beautiful sequel lays solid foundations for the grand finale by exploring further the depths of abuse of power, censorship,

Me, literally just finished book 2: May isn't that far, I can wait for book 3.Also me, hysterically: I'll learn French and read this Right. Now.

This was, as the two books before, awesome! The mood on the new ark is completely different to the ones we visited before and Ophelia has a hard time adjusting. She has to deal with a lot of problems and things I can't talk about, because of spoilers, and let me tell you- it wasn't boring for one second. It's a shame we have to wait till next spring for the fourth and last part.
