Relation To Books Perfectly Imperfect
Mirror, mirror … who’s the fairest of them all?I still cringe when I hear that line. A fairy tale that had girls pretending they were the fairest, the most beautiful, and the most entitled. A fairy tale most couldn’t grow out of turned my haunted childhood memories into a living nightmare. Girls who grew up believing that pile of garbage became the meanest of all ‘mean girls.’
And those mean girls were right – it was a line meant for all the beautiful people in the world – and I knew the answer would never be me.
The women with long legs, flat stomachs, and perfect chests.
The type of women Kane Masters gravitated toward.
Well, that’s definitely not Willow Tate.
No. That will never be me.
Because I’m completely imperfect.
And … I hate myself.
I have no idea what Kane could possibly see in someone like me when he could have them.

4.5 stars http://amzn.to/1NA1PheWith a blurb like this I was immediately thinking I have to read this one:Mirror, mirror ... who's the fairest of them all?I still cringe when I hear that line. A fairy tale that had girls pretending they were the fairest, the most beautiful, and the most entitled. A fairy tale most couldn't grow out of turned my haunted childhood memories into a living nightmare. Girls who grew up believing that pile of garbage became the meanest of all 'mean girls.'And thoseI've struggled to write this review. I didn't want to go into anything overly personal but at the same time I felt like Willow's story forced you to reveal a little of yourself. So many woman deal with body image issues. So often the way we see ourselves is in a negative light. And so so so often we feel so completely unworthy that being motivated to put in effort, to change and make ourselves better, is almost impossible. How can you change your self perception when you don't think you are
Reviewed by: Hello Beautiful Book Blog Steamy scenes, romantic gestures and cute banter made this book a fun read. #IAmWillow #WeAreWillowI love the message in this book. I love body positivity. That was my favorite part. We need more books, media, and influence for girls to love themselves. Willow embodied women everywhere. I was so happy to read about her journey to happiness. Everything will be okay in the end. If its not okay, then its not the end. -Ed Sheeran Willow has had a very hard life
☆ I received an ARC via TRSOR PR in exchange for an honest review. Thank you! ☆3.5 stars!! Perfectly Imperfect strikes an accord with many issues all people, particularly women face, from day to day. From misconceived body issues, family turmoil, opening yourself up to others, and ultimately loving yourself inside and out unconditionally.I think all of us have an inner Willow and therefore can identify with her plight, her struggles, and her journey throughout. After all beauty is only skin
In a room full of art I'd still stare at you.FIVE #iAmWillow STARSWillow and Kane ♥I'm lonely. Surrounded by millions andstill the loneliest motherfucker around.I want someone real. I need a challenge.I want to feel that connection to someone I've never been able to find. The one you read about. The one that makes you feel alive. This novel was definitely #PerfectlyImperfect! I always look forward to reading Harper Sloan novels and this one did NOT disappoint. This novel can connect a lot with
★★★ 3 Stars ★★★ There's no doubt that I support the message that this book is trying to convey, it's a prevalent issue in the media but still we have women and girls who don't believe that they are perfect enough for society's idealistic view of what you should look like.Willow Tate is going through a nasty divorce, her ex-husband having cast her aside now that she has put on weight. Whilst at her lowest low and the subject of humiliation, she meets Hollywood actor Kane Masters.Kane is sick of
I had such great expectations, but it was so hard to finish reading it! Once again, I hace to say I hate insta-love. Kane "felt a connection" just from seeing her once. He decides he has to get Willow because he sees the great woman she is and the potential their relationship has and wants to protect her... from having seen her 2 or 3 times and barely speaking. Willow is willing to risk everything and pack and leave for a stranger she barely knows.Come on! This was no love at first sight, but
