Love that we see more of the library and Kaiden in this installment! There is also so much more action and danger, Alex continues to grow and develop as a character and in strength, and as always I adore the friendships in this series. This book will have you itching to read the fifth and final book in the series, which I know will be EPIC.Shut up. I'm not crying. You're crying.All the feels! ALL THE FEELS!!!

im too soft my feelings hurt
Another great book for this series. I didnt enjoy this one quite as much as book 3, but it was still good. This one has Alex visiting neighboring lands to warn them Aven is coming and enlist their help in the upcoming war. While some of these visits present significant challenges for Alex, others dragged a little. Niyx was my favourite character by far. Soraya was a nice new addition. While it was good to get some of Kaidens backstory, hes feeling a little too perfect. Im struggling to see the
5 StarsI'm not really sure why I love this series so much but I do. It just seems like books that aren't really my thing. But it works and how.The World building would certainly be one reason. It's fantastic and so vivid. I also love how we see the same places but they often change so much. I'm trying not to give anything away but you see these places before and after certain events and it just evokes such strong feelings. It's amazing writing it really is.The characters are great as always and
