This is one of those books that I think will prove to be instrumental in the development of my own writing. My favorite parts in the book were the explanations behind the concepts of his books. The process by which he performed his research. The humility by which he explains he approached his books. The very depths of research

very interesting reading.

كتاب يوضح كيف كتب ماريو بارغاس رواياته الشهيرة وكيف تغيرت قناعاته الأدبية بمرور الزمن وتأثير بعض الكتاب عليه سواء القدامي أو المعاصرين له مثل بورخيس وسارتر

I loved this book. Not just because I'm a Vargas Llosa fan but also because he talks about how he does what he does. His style is so smooth, you forget that he has worked a lot to get where he is and that he's just great at it.

كتاب لطيف جدا يجب أن يقرره كل مهتم بالكتابة وتقنياتها وقوالبها الإبداعية .عبر معظم روايات يوسا _كما شرح هو_ كان يتبع أسلوب الكتابة عبر مستويين سرديين مختلفين في الزمان أو المكان أو الرؤية كما أنه كتب دوما منطلقا من تجربته الشخصية مع كثير من التعديلات التي يفرضها الخيال الأدبي وخبرة الكاتب الشخصية أعجبتني قدرة "يوسا" على شرح تجربته في كتابة كل رواية من رواياته منذ ولدت كفكرة وحتى نضجها في نفسه عبر السنين وأخيرا تنفيذها في مسودة واثنتين حتى النسخة النهائية أعجبني كذلك إبداعه في تجربة تقنيات
