I had a lot of thoughts about this book. The POV in present tense third person was strange for me. It took me about a dozen or so pages to get beyond that and to truly begin to enjoy the story. It remained a distraction, but my interest in the plot overruled that quickly enough. I became lost to the plot and continued to turn the pages until I practically read this one non-stop.
