This was a recommendation on the discussion boards which I'm glad I followed, otherwise I may not have come across this powerful novella.Others have spoken of the synopsis more than adequately. For me the writing was lyrical, emotive and evocative about a horrific subject....war. But this novella also spoke of bravery and mateship. It is a novella that encompasses all the horrors of war, the men and women who fight and the personnel that support them. This novella starts poignantly at the ending

Thunderous Applause This is the 2nd book that I have read by D.C. His characters are easily followed, the story line well done, and an amazing intensity is crafted by ink and quill. This is a short ebook format - I would guess about 50-60 pages.I'm really at a loss as to how to describe it.
